REPAINT PROFESSIONALLY DONE - JULY 2010
Built in 1984 and owned by us for the past 18 years. The boat has been buuilt to Lloyd's register A1 specificatin and was Gelshielde in 2002. We have sailed her extensively from the Outer Hebrides to the Aegean, where we are cruising at present. We are thinking about hanging up our sea-boots and consequently are selling the boat and entire contents. There is far too much to itemise here, simply everything you need for cruising and living aboard. A more complete inventory can be found on yacht-fung-shui.zoomshare.com. There is a new 2.9 metre dinghy with 4hp outboard. The interior has been completely re upholstered in 2007, together with new sprayhood and cockpit seats. The saloon has been re-üpholsterd sýnce the photos were taken and also the trim in the aft cabin has been attended to. All standing rigging replaced March 2008. New bimini added 2008.
Marina berth in Marmaris to April 2011 included in price.

Interior & Domestic
Forward of the companionway to port is a roomy U shaped dinnette that drops down to sleep 2 comfortably. Opposite this to starboard is a large U shaped Galley with newer countertops. The navigation station is just forward of the galley also to starboard, and there is a large hanging locker to port. Four pilot berths outboard to port and starboard are forward of the main salon and serve as additional seating. Continuing forward to starboard is the Raritan marine pump head and shower with sump pump. Opposite the head is another spacious locker with storage space. The owner's stateroom has a V berth with overhead storage and a large sail locker with double door access.

"Magnet is a very good sailer and ready to sail on. From 2007 until may 2010 she sailed from Los Angeles into the beautiful Pacific, the Great Barrier Reef , the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea to Marmaris , where she is lying in Yacht Marine. The owner is not able to sail anymore because her partner has suddenly passed away. Magnet is totally equipped to go on sailing.
During the sailing she has been looked after very well and many new things were added. The engine has been overhauled several times, because the two former owners both were macanics. The last big maintenance on the engine was in June 2010, with new exhaust waterinjector, alternator cleaned and checked, startengine cleaned and checked, stuffingbox fresh bearing (still to be adjusted when starting the engine), oil and fuelfilters.
All house batteries, a autopilot, a windmeter, a dinghy and outboard motor are the most recent purchases. Magnet has a very good solar system and windgenerator that give sufficient amps!
She has a new second profurl roller for light weather sail.
Magnets cockpit has been made beautiful with teak sits on the lazarets and teak on the floor. The wheel has a leather cover, and all awnings are brand new.
There are a lot of spareparts and tools that stay with the Magnet. Really many parts and tools.
ATTENTION: The mainsail needs to be renewed, and the UV strip on the Genoa has to be stichted , it has loose ends"
